The My Food Service License Alaska Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) course provides food safety training, exams, and educational materials to foodservice managers.
The program blends the latest FDA Food Code, food safety research, and years of food sanitation training experience. Managers learn to implement essential food safety practices and create a culture of food safety. All content and materials are based on actual job tasks identified by foodservice industry experts.

Food Handler Training
Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card - Online Training
This course has been approved by the Municipality of Anchorage Public Health.
The Municipality of Anchorage Certified Food Work Card is being accepted on most locations statewide and, that is the responsibility of the cardholder to verify acceptance outside of the geographic boundaries of the Municipality of Anchorage.
All food workers in the Municipality of Anchorage are required to obtain a Food Worker Card within 30 days of hire. Upon successful completion of the course and final exam, you will be able to download and print your Food Worker Card. Your Anchorage Food Worker Card is, valid for 3 years.

My Food Service License provides online food handler training. Food handler training is optional in most areas of Alaska and this course provides excellent food worker training to teach the important principles of food safety to food handlers. Your local regulatory agency may have additional requirements. Please contact your local regulatory agency for more information

This training is a general food handler course. If your local health department requires a food handler card, you will need to take that course.
This course takes approximately one hour to complete and, upon successful completion, provides a printable food handler certificate. This certificate is good for up to five years.

Exceptions: Anchorage does not require a Certified Food Safety Manager if you are not considered type 2 and Type 3 risk.
Food Manager Training Hours: Recommended but not required.
Food Handler Training Course: Required - Anchorage requires Food Handler training within 30 days of hire.
Food Manager Certification and Food Handler Certificate Renewal: Food Manager every 3 years; Food Handler every 3 years for Anchorage. The State of Alaska does not have a renewal requirement.
