The My Food Service License Nevada Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) course provides food safety training, exams, and educational materials to foodservice managers.
The program blends the latest FDA Food Code, food safety research, and years of food sanitation training experience. Managers learn to implement essential food safety practices and create a culture of food safety. All content and materials are based on actual job tasks identified by foodservice industry experts.

Food Handler Training
My Food Service License provides online food handler training. Food handler training is optional in most areas of Nevada and this course provides excellent food worker training to teach the important principles of food safety to food handlers.

This training is a general food handler course. If your local health department requires a food handler card, you will need to take that course. Before purchasing this course, click here to see if another course is offered for your jurisdiction.
This course takes approximately one hour to complete and, upon successful completion, provides a printable food handler certificate. This certificate is good for up to five years.

State Requirements: Food Protection Manager: Certification is not required, food protection managers must demonstrate knowledge, and passing an accredited Food Safety Manager certification exam is one way to meet the requirement.
Food Handlers: Recommended but not required.
Exceptions: Clark and Washoe counties require a Food Protection Manager certification. Clark county requires Food Handler cards.
Manager Training Hours: Recommended but not required.
Food Handler Course: Recommended but not required.
Food Manager Certification and Food Handler Certificate Renewal: Food Manager every 5 years; Food Handler every 5 years.
