Welcome to the My Food Service License Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) Certification Program. 

Purpose: The My Food Service License certification program aims to evaluate individuals who wish to secure or maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification by the criteria and Standards established through the CFP and the issuance of certificates to individuals who meet the required level of competency. 

Responsibility:  We must ensure that the certification procedure is impartial and upholds the rights of all prospective applicants. My Food Service License has a duty to the individuals desiring certification, the employers of those individuals, and the public and therefore attests to the competency of all individuals completing the Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certification.  

This exam has been developed to assess the knowledge of entry-level Food Safety Managers in the food service industry.

The My Food Service License Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certification attests that a manager or other person in charge has the necessary understanding of food safety to safeguard the general public from foodborne illnesses. The My Food Service License Certification is an ANAB-CFP accredited certification program.

The processes needed to take the My Food Service License Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) exam have been laid out in this handbook to assist candidates. Any applicant who satisfies the qualifying standards is eligible for certification. As a prospective Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM), it will help you understand your responsibilities.
