Course Description A Certified Food Safety Manager plays a major role in keeping food safe and the ability to serve safe food. He/she has to protect the public from foodborne illness.
My Food Service License offers this course to validate the knowledge of a food safety manager.
The Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) course provides food safety training, lectures, videos, educational materials, quizzes, and a practice exam to foodservice managers. Students will earn the nationally accredited International Certified Food Protection Manager Certification upon passing the proctored exam with a score of 75% or higher.
The course blends the latest FDA Food Code, food safety research, and years of food sanitation training experience. Managers learn to implement essential food safety practices and create a culture of food safety. All content and materials are based on actual job tasks identified by foodservice industry experts. This course will provide you the knowledge and skills to serve safe food.
This self-paced course allows students to take it any time of the day using a computer, smartphone, or tablet with an internet connection. Students can also review any section that they choose to reinforce the training. Since everyone learns differently this helps our students to be successful in our course.
Anytime food is produced or served there must always be at least one person working that holds the Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) license. Any staff working while that person is present is required to have, at a minimum, a basic food handlers card to comply with food safety regulations.
At the end of the course, students will have the option of taking their exam online with an online exam proctor, or at 1 of over 1500 in-person testing centers. The choice is yours.
