Course Description A Certified Food Protection Manager plays a major role in keeping food safe and the ability to serve safe food. He/she has to protect the public from foodborne illness.
The Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) course provides food safety training videos, educational materials, quizzes, and a practice exam.
Students Learn to implement essential food safety practices to create a culture of food safety. All content and materials are based on actual job tasks identified by food service industry experts.
This self-paced course gives students 24 X 7 access using a computer, smartphone, or tablet. Students can also review any section that they choose to reinforce the training.
Anytime food is produced or served, at least one person must be working with a Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) license. Any staff working while that person is present must have, at a minimum, a basic food handlers card to comply with food safety regulations.
At the end of the course, students can take their exam online with an online exam proctor or at 1 of over 1500 in-person testing centers. The choice is yours.
Upon passing the exam, students will earn their nationally accredited 5-year certification.
