Course Description     A Certified Food Safety Manager plays a major role in keeping food safe and the ability to serve safe food. He/she has to protect the public from foodborne illness.

The Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) course provides food safety training videos, educational materials, quizzes, and a practice exam.

Students Learn to implement essential food safety practices to create a culture of food safety. All content and materials are based on actual job tasks identified by food service industry experts. 

This self-paced course gives students 24 X 7 access using a computer, smartphone, or tablet.  Students can also review any section that they choose to reinforce the training.  

Anytime food is produced or served, there must always be at least one person working that holds the Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) license.  Any staff working while that person is present must have, at a minimum, a basic food handlers card to comply with food safety regulations.  

At the end of the course, students will have the option of taking their exam online with an online exam proctor or at 1 of over 1500 in-person testing centers.  The choice is yours.

Students will earn their nationally accredited 5-year certification upon passing the exam with a score of 75% or higher.

The self-practice test questions found in the prep book refer to the concepts and principles currently valid in the exam. Each question comes with an answer and a short explanation which aids you in seeking further study information.

For the purpose of exam readiness, this product includes questions that have a varying number of choices. Some have 2, while some have 5 or 6. We want to make sure these questions are tough enough to test your readiness and draw your focus to the weak areas. Think of these as challenges presented to you to assess your comprehension of the subject matter.
